利比里亚 is a minor country in West Africa with a population of 750 K. It is bordered by colonies of both the
英国 to the northwest, and
法国 to the north and east. Liberia is one of only 3 fully independent African countries, the others being
埃塞俄比亚 and the
奥萨苏丹国.
Liberia granted Allied forces access to its territory early in the war. It was used as a transit point for troops and resources bound for North Africa, particularly war supplies flown from Parnamirim (near Natal) in Brazil. Perhaps more importantly, it served as one of the Allies' only sources of rubber during the war; after the plantations of Southeast Asia had been taken over by the Japanese.
The importance of this resource led to significant improvement of Liberia's transport infrastructure and a modernization of its economy. Liberia's strategic significance was emphasized when Franklin Roosevelt, after attending the Casablanca Conference, visited Liberia and met President Edwin Barclay. Despite its assistance to the Allies, Liberia was reluctant to end its official neutrality and did not declare war on Germany until 27 January 1944.

利比里亚 没有空军。
The fascist route for Liberia is definitely a route to consider, as the generic fascist branch in the focus tree will give you an extra 7 percent recruitable manpower, which is a much-needed bonus for a small country like Liberia with its tiny population. However, going fascist also means that you will be surrounded by a hostile
英国 that can easily crush you, so keep that in mind. Still, if played well, a fascist Liberia may well one day be able to control the entire African continent.
The first thing to do in order to get on the route to African domination is to take the Political Effort focus, which will give you an extra 120 political power. Use this political power to hire Ebenezer Cailloux, who will give you 0.10 fascist support per day. Hiring him will also unlock the "Fascism on the rise" decisions, where you can decide to either fire a civil war or switch to fascism peacefully in a referendum. If you want to do the civil war, remember to disband your one division, as once the civil war starts the division will most likely go to the enemy's side. Then, make an infantry division with one cavalry unit, train it, and deploy it to quickly take your opponent's victory points.
While you wait to turn fascist, use your one civilian factory to build some more civs, and take your industrial focuses to get some free civilian and military factories, which will be very valuable, since Liberia has next-to-none starting factories. Once you finish turning fascist, you can now progress down the rest of your political focuses to get that extra recruitable population. Also, at this point you should have researched Basic Machine Tools, Dispersed/Concentrated Industry, Construction One, as well as some Electronics techs to boost research speed and maybe some Infantry techs to boost soft attack. Artillery is highly recommended but probably not feasible given Liberia's limited research slots- so is Close Air Support. Try to fit these in if you can. Your political power, should also be spent first on getting to war economy for 150 political power, then take some Improved Worker Conditions, Anti-Democratic/Communist Raids to get your stability up, and then if you have enough political power, a Captain of Industry. At this point, it should be around late 1938, to mid 1939, and here you can make a decision. Either you can join the Axis and use your limited army to quickly grab some Allied land- or you can build up your army and industry, wait for the Allies to pull their troops out of Africa, and then strike. Both are feasible, but this guide will focus on you waiting. But if you want to quickly attack, go ahead- it will mostly be a game of cat-and-mouse for you, since your units will melt when faced with any Allied troops, so your main focus will be shifting your units around to pin down as much enemy troops as you can as you wait for Germany and Italy to come to your rescue.
Now, if you decide to wait, then your focus should be building up an elite army made up of small, quick, and flexible special forces units- marines, or mountaineers work well. A standard 10 width of marines/mountaineers, with support artillery, support anti-aircraft, support anti-tank, engineers, and field hospitals to conserve your precious manpower. Train as much of these as you can, exercise them until they're regulars, and then strike. If at this point France has not capitulated yet, then quickly grab some of their territory as it's highly likely they won't have any units stationed there. Also take some of Great Britain's land as well. Once France has capitulated, your job will be to support the Germans ad Italians in pushing the British out of North Africa.
Once the Brits and French have been kicked out of North Africa, turn your attention to South Africa, which if not capitulated, will most likely be duking it out with the Italians in Central and East Africa- send your units here, as the Italians aren't too reliable. By this time, if you have Service by Requirement or higher, you'll be able to field at least 11 divisions of special forces- put these to good use in pushing the South Africans. This will also give you some extra warscore to take some more British and French African territories in the peace conference. With Africa firmly in Axis hands, Britain should fall quickly as well. Take their African land, and there you have it. A much more powerful and bigger Liberia.
