苏台德

The  苏台德德意志自由军团 is a releasable country in the  Czech region of Sudetenland. Its cores appear when  德国,  奥地利 or any other German country starts justifying on  捷克斯洛伐克 or doing an focus that gives them an wargoal on Czechoslovakia. It cannot be released manually by Czechoslovakia, but can be released in a peace deal if their cores still exist.

Sudetenland German Free Corps was a paramilitary organization founded on 17 September 1938 in Germany on direct order of Adolf Hitler. The organization was composed mainly of ethnic German citizens of Czechoslovakia with pro-Nazi sympathies who were sheltered, trained and equipped by the German army and who conducted cross-border terrorist operations into Czechoslovak territory from 1938 to 1939. They played a role in destabilizing Czechoslovakia and facilitating the annexation of the Sudetenland into the Third Reich under Nazi Germany.

The increasing aggressiveness of Hitler prompted the Czechoslovak military to start to build extensive border fortifications in 1936 to defend the troubled border region. Immediately after the Anschluss of Austria into the German Reich in March 1938, Hitler made himself the advocate of ethnic Germans living in Czechoslovakia, which triggered the Sudeten Crisis. The following month, Sudeten Nazis, led by Konrad Henlein, agitated for autonomy. On 24 April 1938, the SdP proclaimed the Karlsbader Programm, which demanded in eight points the complete equality between the Sudeten Germans and the Czech people. The government accepted those claims on 30 June 1938.

The Sudetenland was assigned to Germany between 1 and 10 October 1938. The Czech part of Czechoslovakia was subsequently invaded by Germany in March 1939, with a portion being annexed and the remainder turned into the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. The Slovak part declared its independence from Czechoslovakia and became the Slovak Republic (Slovak State), a satellite state allied to Germany. (The Ruthenian part, Subcarpathian Rus, made also an attempt to declare its sovereignty as Carpatho-Ukraine but only with ephemeral success since the area was soon annexed by Hungary.)

Sudetenland starts the game with 3 Research slots though it can gain up to 3 additional slots through the generic national focus tree. As a releasable nation, when released it will inherit all technologies that the releasing nation had already researched.

Overview of Sudetenland

Sudetenland, despite being an in-game "nation", by Ironman choices it is almost unplayable, so the player only benefits playing the nation is by using console commands. But, another way is to release them as a nation, pick Germany as one of the best German nations to take down Czechoslovakia. Playing this country is a challenge all about maintaining peace and order on the owned lands of Sudetenlands.

The invasion of the Czechoslovakia and government creation

In order to play as early as Sudetenland(SDL), is to play first as Germany and go with the historical path. In this case, just go on by conquering Czechoslovakia before preparing yourself to fight against Germans or Soviets for the war. Considering that Poland if lived for long, they'd be claimed by the Soviets or Germans. In the usual scenario, the player has to rush down in focuses that targets Czechoslovakia's partition. Or the manual route with by justifying on Czechoslovakia through the Sudetenlands. Therefore, Sudetenland gains 3 cores in Czechoslovakia. If Germany invades and annexes Czechoslovakia, then it can release Sudetenland manually.

In a matter of technology, SDL also inherits whatever Germany gains from national focuses or by decision, if the player wishes to remain to play as Germany a little longer just to have their technologies passable for the puppet state, Sudetenlands gets them altogether.

The Czech German nation can be released by any nation that occupies the three Czechoslovakian cores, if Germany has taken the Czechoslovakian focuses or has justified manually on them. At this point if it is any German nation that has justified on Czechoslovakia. Notably Austria and Luxembourg. As it is released it starts with political advisors only. It doesn't have any starting national spirit, an unique national focus nor any unique leaders.

Fortunately, as stated earlier, the nation inherits most of the releasing nation's technology, ranging from small arms, tanks, planes and navy. In this case: Germany's. Thus, opening opportunities to start and produce if needed necessary. However, if started as a puppet state it has many draw backs. It has a decent amount of factories but some go to the nation's overlord, and some are unusable which have to be resorted to raise the puppet level. Therefore, striving for independence means to get the great number of factories back up. Or with other means. Alternatively, again, it can be released if Czechoslovakia is annexed and Sudetenland's cores are present.

The nation by release, can enjoy a peaceful gameplay, but for a bit of interactive gameplay, it can join the Axis, considering Germany sends invitation to fascist countries.
